Short Devotional Reflection (தியானம்)

Tamil: ஒரு ஓட்டப்பந்தய வீரர் தன் கைகளில் பளுவைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு ஓடினால் அவரால் வெற்றிபெற முடியாது. ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையிலும், கடந்த காலத்தின் கசப்புகள், கவலைகள் மற்றும் பாவங்கள் ஆகிய பாரங்களை நாம் சுமந்துகொண்டு ஓட முடியாது. உங்களைச் சோர்வடையச் செய்யும் எந்தப் பாரமாக இருந்தாலும் அதை இன்றே கர்த்தருடைய பாதத்தில் வைத்துவிடுங்கள். உங்கள் கண்களை வேறு எங்கும் திருப்பாமல், இயேசுவின் மீது மட்டுமே பதித்து ஓடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் நிச்சயம் உங்கள் இலக்கை அடைவீர்கள்.

English: A marathon runner cannot win if they are carrying a heavy backpack. In our spiritual lives, we often try to run forward while dragging the heavy luggage of past mistakes, present anxieties, and hidden sins. You cannot move into the future God has for you if you are weighed down by the past. Take a moment today to consciously lay aside everything that is slowing you down. Drop the baggage, fix your eyes completely on Jesus, and run your race with renewed strength and endurance.

Prayer (ஜெபம்): அன்புள்ள ஆண்டவரே, என் ஓட்டத்தைத் தடுக்கும் எல்லாப் பாரங்களையும் பாவங்களையும் தள்ளிவிட எனக்கு பெலன் தாரும். உம்மையே நோக்கிப் பார்த்து, எனக்காக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஓட்டத்தைப் பொறுமையோடு ஓட எனக்கு உதவி செய்யும். / Loving Lord, give me the strength to lay aside every weight and sin that hinders my progress. Help me to fix my eyes on You and run my race with patience and endurance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
